For the past 12 years, the annual CAE Cup is a highlight of the AMTC! This critical care skills competition utilizes the latest in human patient simulation provided by CAE Healthcare. A starting field of approximately 10 teams competes head-to-head to show off their skills in real time on CAE Healthcare’s state-of-the-art patient simulators. The field is whittled down to just three top-notch teams that will compete in the Finals on Tuesday for the coveted CAE Cup, as well as bragging rights for the rest of the year.

International Forum
Tuesday October 22, 2013
Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art
Rodriguez Pavilion
This beautiful 1,600-square-foot glass enclosed space showcases a sparkling 16-foot Dale Chihuly chandelier, which shines as a beacon for our luncheon. The intricate chandelier is comprised of a multitude of individual glass objects of varying colors and shapes. Despite their diversity, they are intertwined and form one body. We believe this chandelier symbolizes our International Forum: out of many form one.
|
We also selected this venue, adjacent to the Convention Center, due to Chihuly’s international reputation and presence. In 1968, after receiving a Fulbright Fellowship, he went to work at the Venini glass factory in Venice. There he observed the team approach to blowing glass, which is critical to the way he works today. In 1971, Chihuly co-founded Pilchuck Glass School in Washington State. With this international glass center, Chihuly has led the avant-garde in the development of glass as a fine art.

Reserve a spot in the Donor Lounge at AMTC
Contributions to the MedEvac Foundation International help advance research, provide access to continuing education, assist families and raise public awareness of the value our members bring to the general public and our economy. Our donors make all this happen, and at times it’s difficult to find ways to thank you for your involvement in improving medical transport throughout the world.
The combination of educational courses and spectacular exhibits can make the AMTC Meeting an exhausting experience. As a new way to acknowledge our donors, we invite you to take a break from the main activitites in our new Donor Lounge.
The Lounge is open to any individual who has contributed at least $250 since the beginning of our fiscal year (March 1, 2013).

MedEvac Foundation staff is looking forward to seeing you and will be on hand to answer questions and make your AMTC experience as productive and enjoyable as possible.
Make your gift of at least $250 personally by September 15, 2013 and you will receive a special sticker for your badge in the mail prior to AMTC that identifies you as an Annual Fund donor. Or, you can make your $250 donation on the spot and receive your sticker onsite in Virginia Beach. You will need to wear your sticker on your AMTC badge to allow you entrance to the Donor Lounge.
Don’t be left out in the concourse, searching for a spot to check your email. Make your donation to the MedEvac Foundation today and earn your admission to the Donor Lounge.
Much more important than entrance to the Donor Lounge, your gift will help build a world where patients can access skilled, safe and rapid critical care medical treatment. That’s really what we’re all about - giving back to others and making lives better. And, this is our way to say Thank you!
