MedEvac Foundation International Charity Golf Tournament Kicks Off AMTC 2010

Golfing enthusiasts will gather Sunday, October 10 at TPC Heron Bay Golf Course in the greater Fort Lauderdale area to support the MedEvac Foundation International. Monies raised will be directed to the Foundation’s “Give Back” initiatives, including the Family Grant Fund and Children’s Scholarship, which are available to families impacted by an air medical transport crash.   Golfers of all skill levels will enjoy fabulous Florida fall weather and a round of golf testing the holes at the former home of the PGA Tour’s Honda Classic. 

Individual player registration is $145 and available on the AMTC.  Player check-in and a light breakfast will start at 7:15 am with a scramble start at 8 a.m. After the tournament, enjoy a lunch buffet and brief awards ceremony.  Golf transportation to and from the course is included.

All proceeds will benefit the medical transport community. Since the creation of the AAMS-affiliated MedEvac Foundation International, formerly know as FARE, more than $600,000 has been awarded to medical transport research, education and outreach grants.
